changes for the future

Well after much research and planning I have decided to make some changes to my business over the next month and into the new year.

I will be updating the galleries in all three sections, yep new pics in all my galleries; fashion and lifestyle, character and behind the scenes.

The bridal section will be changed to the rates will be going up, this may sound like a selfish act but in reality its commerce, in testing the water i have decided that its time to make the change. My rate Will still be affordable in comparison to the other artist working in and around the UK but will be higher that they are at the moment.

So for brides looking to book me I will be changing the pricing but you will be getting an airbrush trained make up artist that has experience of film, theatre, fashion and teaching. So all in it will still be a good service aimed at the clients. Until mid December those who book at the current rate will receive that price, this will only affect those who book after a certain date which will be confirmed soon.

Over time I will be introducing other options including a course in the business of bridal make up for students who want to enter this market, I will be introducing brushes into my sales range, available exclusively to those who book me for bridal and those who take my class.

So keep watching for updates and changes.

Photoshoot

Well for those who thought that photoshoots were glamorous and high octane i am here to dispel the myth. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with Lisa anne, Vicky and James Rae.

The shoot took place outdoors in Ayr along the west coast. We were all cold, we enjoyed the shoot and it was worth the end result but I am sure the girls will testify that it was freezing!

still here and working

I haven't been able to get on here to update for a little while now. Just time and tide have caught up on me. So here I am updating my diary and letting you al lknow I am still around.

Lothian council has been good to me and kept in regular contact,my time is spent with them teaching classes on special effects, yep lots of bruises and blood on the go with my students. Its also a good opportunity to see the fantastic Carolyn Jones, an old friend from my early days of Indie film.

Although I have been living quietly I am still on occasion known to take on a photo shoot. The most recent was for the arches players in Glasgow's arches, which i Am sure I have filled you all in on.

Weddings have been another major part of my work, brides are now becoming more savvy and hiring a make up artist to work with them for their big day. So keep it coming.

Wat the future hold is currently be splitting my time between here and Europe so if you are looking for a make u artist for your commercial, film , music video or corporate event in the UK or Europe then please do get in touch.
