Night is day, music video's and college

In the last two weeks I have filmed the first episode of night is day the web series. I have never been so tired! We started filming midday and finished between 7 and 9 each day for a two day shoot. I sometimes wonder why I do it. It doesn't sound a lot but hot nights and poor sleep can take there toll on the body.
I also for the fantastic splash productions was able to help ut a their showcase of teaching. To then following this with refilming a scene for a music video, Mariah Docherty the singer, has gone from being nervous to being quite happy in front of a camera. Pride in her acheivements is an understatement.
On thursday I had the inductio for my reintrodiuction into college, I am sure it will be fine, all I want is the extra skills I need to further my career into video production in my own right.
Night is Day

I was out filming in Glasgow today: the teaser trailer for night is day the web series. I am once again appearing on film with permission, silent but there in the behind the scenes footage. I hate the sound of my voice on tape! As well as doing a very nasty scar on the new Jason. (pictures shown here are from the original short film with Ross).
Chris our newbie was quiet and did his job and needed my assitance not only fixing his scar on, a much nastier looking one this time round, but I cut his hair to make him look less emo and more mean. As per usual glamour was not the call of the day, we filmed in alleyway. Still I got see a friend I haven't seen for a while.
Night is day the series will be interesting, I was the original make-up artist on the short film Night is Day: dusk. The photo's attached are from the original, I will add the new pica from the web series as I go along. work
I have been back and forward to my new space, its small but will serve sufficent enough to do what I plan. I spend so much time advising people on getting into either modelling or acting and then giving out information on putting together portfolio's I have decided to offer the service myself.
On more than one one occassion I have been shocked by the cost of pictures, up to £200 for a disc with pictures, and if you want a make-up artist you have to pay extra! So I decided that I would offer a combined service. Have your make-up done, your pics taken in the studio by a pro make-up artist and a pro photogrpher. The advantage being you will be getting access to expertise without hassle, a full consultattion will be done and you can pick my brains for more information on products.
Also I am planning a line of brushes, make-up kits aimed a theatre actors andd musicans who are gigging and don't have the budget to in need of a kit will be customised according to budget and needs. Of course this servcie will be available to clients in Scotland.
For more information please feel free to contact me.
studio

I am in the process of moving around, I will soon have my own little studio space in a production complex . The plan is I can offer private service to clients who want a make-over or just want a kit built.
Additionally it means I will be able to do portflio's with actors and models to. I am looking at bringing a range of make-up brushes into my website for sale as soon as I make the changeover to being a paid site. (free is easier and less hassle at the moment), once thats done I will be making other small changes as time goes on so keep watching my site:

As you can see from my blog pictures I am used to being on set and will in the near future be adding pics of my kit for media work and hopefully a nice head shot where I do't look like a vampire from a twenties horror film!
